For Sale: 1968 Rover 3.5 Litre Coupe
For Sale: 1968 Rover 3.5 coupe. Owned by WAROC member for many years who has unfortunately been forced to give up driving. The car was maintained for many years by Dave Purcell and has had work done by Paul Fenton. Comparative recent service by Sovreign motors, Myaree, WA, September 2022 where the rear rear brakes were completely overhauled. All receipts available. Current mileage is 96,597 miles (155,457 km) but not sure if this is original. The motor was re-built by Dave Purcell in the 90’s. The bodywork and paint are in good condition but would benefit from a good cut and polish. The interior and woodwork are in extremely nice condition. The car is fitted with functioning A/C. Fully licensed until April 29th, 2024 (WA). Car in Perth (WA) area.

For Sale 2001 Rover 75 Club
Because of a move overseas, I am selling my Rover 75 2.5 litre automatic V6 Club. 2001 (first registered in Australia 2002).
Odometer reads 165000 kms and Victorian registration no. is TID160. The VIN is SARRJSLLM2D227878
This is a mechanically sound car in good condition. It is reliable and a pleasure to drive. Cylinder heads and timing belts were replaced by Rob Noto 13000kms ago. (Dec.2020). Work on cooling system was done around the same time, including new fan.
To be sold without RWC for around $2300 or reasonable offer. I had intended to sell the car with RWC and work was done earlier this year for that, including a new head lining fitted. Unfortunately, I was unexpectedly hospitalised just before my planned departure from Australia and consequences have meant I have not been able to see that process to completion. However, the car is now close to RWC condition and registered until 19th January 2024.

1963 Rover P4 110 – For Sale

This original Rover P4 is the personal car of the former President of The Rover P4 Drivers Guild of Australia.
The Rover P4 110 was introduced at the London Motor Show at Earls Court in September 1962 and was the most powerful P4 to date that incorporated many modifications over the outgoing P4 100. Most important of these was the “Westlake head”, which consisted of a redesigned induction system with better shaping in the manifold to improve the airflow, and gave quite a remarkable power increase combined with a new big 2 inch SU HD8 carburettor and most of the other mechanical changes from the P5 3-litre engine.
This particular car was imported by the Australian distributor Grenville Motors, Sydney NSW, in 1964 and is an export right hand drive car fitted with a low compression engine. The low compression engines were mainly sent to Australia and New Zealand where higher octane fuels were not available at the time. The date of first registration was June 1964 and is the 190th chassis of a total of 209 P4 110 export model cars and is verified by The Rover P4 Drivers Guild UK. This car being quite rare is optioned with the individual front seats, “Layback” fully adjustable type, Lucas spot lamps and cigar lighter. Only four P4 110s are known to the Rover P4 Drivers Guild of Australia Inc.
In 2011 the car passed to Ian Cummings a very well known classic car dealer in NSW and was driven to his private museum in Ross, Tasmania as part of his permanent expansive collection before being purchased by the current owner in 2015.
This P4 is unrestored and completely original and is the ideal touring car and at 80,000 miles is barely “run in”. P4s were beautifully engineered and their survival rate today, 50 to 60 years later, is testimony to their quality.

1975 P6B automatic. Assembled in New Zealand CKD.
76,109 kilometers showing, believed to be original.
Lived in Perth until 2021 when I bought it and had it shipped out to Victoria – amazingly rust free, very high quality respray done – transmission just serviced, new front u-joint, new battery, new valve cover gaskets, plugs and plug leads, rotor and cap less than a year old – Pertronix ignition – All gauges and lights work, clock and heater controls not so much – Battery cover does not fit over new battery. Transmission selector bezel is cracked. No other issues.
On Club registry through Jan 2024, rego 8843 H8, Chassis number 45303758E.
This is a solid, rust-free example that runs and drives very well. Sorry to see it go, but I’ve run out of space.

Number of cars produced that year 6914, this car was 5227 The number of all ZT Models produced is believed to be 18894. All ZT exports to Australia are thought to be around 450 vehicles.

Selling this 2003 Rover 75 Club for parts, or to someone who wants a passion project restoring this classic British car. 6 cyl, 2.5L engine capacity The car is misfiring and overheats. It cannot be driven far. Aside from aforementioned issues it has many working parts that are difficult to source in Australia. Apart from a minor dent on the driver side door the body is in good condition. Interior is in good condition, apart from a sagging headliner and interior brake light casing. The car had 4 brand new tyres put on in April 2023 and has barely been driven since. No RWC. Registered until 24th of November 2023. $1200 or make me an offer.
