For Sale 1972 Rover P6B

This beautiful restored 1972 Rover P6B Mexico Brown with leather upholstery is for sale in Sydney NSW. Road registration until July 2027, HOZ678. It was imported privately from England in late 1975. (Documentation exists from Leyland) Current miles 73306 The car has had 3 owners with the previous owner looking after the car for the last 10 years. Member of Sydney’s Rover Car Club. It comes with a continental boot and has sunroof and Air. (Air runs but may not be cooling) The steering wheel is not original. The original is in the boot. Inside the car is like new and the repaint is exceptional. It has suffered home damage to the rear bumper bar recently that requires replacement or refurbishment. The square lower part of the right taillight lens part needs replacing. Some slight panel distortion very close the that part of the light is evident. (Pictures available) Decal on the bonnet needs replacing. Mechanically very good. Always maintained by local mechanic. A long history of records exists for this car. For Sale: 1969 Rover P5B Saloon.
Unregistered, Chassis no. 84100003A, engine number (labelled as 10504002414A)
Exterior colour Silver Birch, with saddle-tan leather interior.
Car has an interesting history, a special import for the then Catholic Archbishop of Hobart (Archbishop Guilford Young).
Low mileage ~85K only.
Very good interior (except for worn carpets)
Good paint, repainted in original colour about ten years ago.
Needs some work and my own situation prohibits the necessary effort.
Head gaskets need replacement (VRS kit included)
Whilst all the front end bits are ok, the boots on them need replacing for RWC. (full kit included).
Minor fettling to rectify dodgy addition of stereo and speakers, also required.
Otherwise very original and unmolested.
Good tyres and battery.
Runs well despite leaking head gaskets.
Rear end has been tidied up and all in good order.

For Sale Rover 75 Connoisseur (MY2004)

To my knowledge, it’s mechanically sound (160k on the clock), and the problems are mostly cosmetic. I’ve had the car since 2012 (80,000km) and serviced regularly; it’s been to NZ and back. I am too old and disabled to carry out servicing any more. I am going to scrap it, but it’s such a beautiful car I’d rather give it to someone who can appreciate it. I had the belts done 15,000 ks ago (150,000 KM), and it was serviced again @ 5,000 km ago. Due for a transmission service again (last service was 30 thousand (130 000KM ago). Have Log Book records. Interior, the leather is dirty, but no cuts or tears. The instrument pack has the typical lines that you find on almost all instruments.

The GPS and Radio are dead; they got drenched during a severe storm. The sunroof is leaking, and I haven’t been able to find where the problem is.
Parts required: Driver’s A-pillar airbag cover is loose The driver’s under-seat airbag cable is loose and rattles.

Rear passenger courtesy lamp needs replacing. (I don’t know why, they break and fall out ☹) Instrument Console paint has faded. (We get reddust from the farms here, that’s, a PITA) So it is possible that with a good polish, it may buff out. Rear sunblind. Stopper End of the blind has come off, and lost. OK, I think that covers all the work to be done. The car is based in Bacchus Marsh and registered in Victoria. The Queensland plates are available as a separate item. I’ve been offered $500 by the scrapyard, but I’d rather see it go to a good home.
