With the changing situation of COVID-19 restrictions, we are pleased to report we can now resume our Events, see Calendar below.

All Events will operate in accordance with the Victorian Government COVID Safe guidance. Please Note – Members are now required to register their attendance prior to meetings and events with the Events Coordinator. Members and visitors are asked to sign in, hand sanitise and wear face masks where necessary.

For any questions on RCCA run events and to Register your attendance please contact Club Events Co-ordinator.

National Heritage Motoring Day (Drive it Day)
May 16 all-day

National Heritage Motoring Day (Drive it Day).

This event is to showcase the Historical Vehicle movement Australia wide by encouraging the use of our vehicles on a particular day each year.

This year the RCCA will enjoy a run to Beeac, including lunch and a tour of Ean McDowell’s private car museum. He owns and runs the Farmers Arms Hotel Beeac (near Colac) and has a car museum containing an enviable range of very collectible cars.

Meeting point: Park outside the Inverleigh Recreation Reserve, Hamilton Hwy B140. Meeting time: 11.30am Departure time: 11.45am – to arrive in Beeac before 12.30, lunch at the Farmers Arms Hotel, 87 Main St, Beeac at 12.30pm. More details May ST.

44th Historic Winton @ Winton Motor Raceway
May 22 – May 23 all-day
Spectators will now be able to attend Historic Winton on 22nd and 23rd May 2021 at Winton Motor Raceway.
Ticket sales will open on Sunday 11 April at 10am.
“Tickets will only be available online and not at the gate to meet COVID contact tracing requirements”.
Historic Winton is Australia’s longest running, all-historic motor race meeting is one of the largest sporting events in rural Victoria, famous for its camaraderie and great views of the entire track.

Tom & Brian will provide their time and expertise to demonstrate to members
extensive panel work on brass, nickel, silver and moulding.

Chiltern Cancer Cruise

Enjoy the historic town of Chiltern with friends, visit the cafes and wonderful National Trust building or enjoy a picnic on the shore of Lake Anderson.
Donation of $5.00 per vehicle. All funds raised will go to supporting local cancer research.

The RACV Alpine Trial Centenary

The RACV Alpine Trial Centenary

The RACV, together with the Vintage Drivers Club, will be organising an event recreating the original 1921 Alpine Trial which will be held from Saturday 20 November to Saturday 27 November 2021.
A maximum of 100 vehicles will be permitted to enter, with preference given to vehicles that competed in the original events and to other vehicles manufactured during the period of the trials: 1921-1926.

The Qld Rover Car Club is hosting the National Gathering of all Rover Car Owners next year in Toowoomba.

After the Covid shut down and the cancellation of the SA gathering it will be good to get back to normal next year. Please see the attached flyer for details and the link to add your name to our mailing list. You don’t have to be a member of a Rover club to add your name to the list.
