Summary of Club Events Calendar. In addition we also list some non RCCA organised Events that we are aware of for information to Members and Classic Car visitors.
For full details of Club activities please see Club Magazines, Viking Torque and Small Torque or contact Club Events Co-ordinator. In all cases if you wish to attend an Event please notify the Club Events Co-ordinator, so arrangements can be made for suitable parking, tickets or catering as appropriate. Please Note: If your vehicle is on Club Plates remember to always fill in your Log Book when you participate in Events.

Special Weekend away in Echuca
Proposed itinerary as follows, further information regarding times etc will be emailed out to participants prior to this event.
Friday 26th April
Registration at the Murray River Paddlesteamers. Any time through till 6pm. Attendees will receive a welcome pack with further information and maps.
Dinner – at the Moama Bowling Club.
Saturday 27th April
Rover Run to Cactus Country, Murray Valley Hwy, Strathmerton.
Depart: 9.30am arrive 10.30am
Lunch – Independent travel, lots of options as you travel back to Echuca.
Afternoon is free to check out the other attractions in Echuca including Rafferty Motor Museum, National Holden Museum.
Dinner- on the Pride of the Murray for a 2 hour cruise, boarding at 6.15pm.
Sunday 28th April
Short morning Rover Run to Torrumbarry Weir. Depart 10.30 am, arrive 11.00am.
Lunch – at Morrisons Winery Moama.
Sunday night free
Monday morning – Cruises on the Mighty Murray river are available –

Saturday 27 April – RACV Florence Thomson Tour
Now in its 3rd yea, this successful event celebrating women in motoring will be based out of RACV Cobram resort and the Murray River Sun Country.
The event is being held on the weekend after ANZAC Day and participants are encouraged to make a weekend of it.
Entries are limited to 200 total participants and are, unashamedly, restricted to women drivers.

Gippsland Vehicle Collection (GVC), 1 A Sale Rd, Maffra. Gates open for buyers and sellers at 7am. Swap meet will feature car, motorbike and other vehicle parts. For more information contact Mike on 0402 084 302.
Guest Speaker – David Boyd will give a presentation on “Collectible Cars on Isle of Wight” and travel by Series 1 Land Rovers to Anglesea, Wales UK.
Visitors and Prospective Members most welcome.
Once again our popular class on panel fabrication with Tom Peach & Brian is scheduled. Tom & Brian have offered their time and expertise to demonstrate to members – extensive panel work on brass, nickel, silver and moulding. Address: please see Event Secretary for details. Historic Winton Australia’s longest running, all-historic motor race meeting runs for two big days of non-stop action at the spectacular rural location of Winton Motor Raceway.
Over 400 historic racing cars, motorbikes and sidecars from the 1920s to the 1980s battle it out for line honours as spectators revel in the races, competition paddock, trader market and huge heritage display of veteran and vintage vehicles.
The long weekend of historic motoring will commence on Friday 17th May with the Benalla Historic Vehicle Tour which is always great fun for all who participate, as well as spectators.
Racecourse Armstrong Grove, Yarra Glen (Organised by AOMC & supported by the RACV). Gates open at 10am for display vehicles & 10.30 for spectators. Entry to venue by gold coin donation, catering available from local community groups, kids entertainment & free bus to Yarra Glen town centre & Chocolaterie.
Clubs are encouraged to establish a starting point and travel in convoy to Yarra Glen.
RCCA Meeting point: Enter Chirnside Park Shopping Centre at main entrance off Maroondah Highway, park on the left near the highway. (Melways ref map 37 G5). Meeting Time: 9.00 am for a 9.15 am departure. All Rovers must be at Yarra Glen Racecourse by 10.00 am to secure our position whether you travel in convoy or make your own arrangements.
Guest Speaker – Mr Ric Blackburn from the Victorian Men’s Shed.
Ric will talk about how the Men’s Shed provides opportunities for men to come together to socialise and work on projects of interest for the community.

2020 National Rove will be hosted by Rover Car Club of South Australia Inc. The Rove will be held around the Fleurieu Peninsula centred in historic Victor Harbor, over the weekend of October 23 to 26, 2020.
