Summary of Calendar of Club Events
With the changing situation of COVID-19 restrictions, we are pleased to report we can now resume our Events, see Calendar below.
All Events will operate in accordance with the Victorian Government COVID Safe guidance. Please Note – Members are now required to register their attendance prior to meetings and events with the Events Coordinator.

(If we list a non Club Event for information, it is best to contact the organisers of the event for the latest situation.)
RCCA’s Australia Day Picnic:
This event is open to family and friends. Where: Sugarloaf Reservoir Park, Christmas Hills. Melways Ref Map 273 A2. Arrival time: 10.00am-2.00pm.
Directions: Travel along the Eltham Yarra Glen Rd (C726), turn into Simpson Rd. Continue on Simpson Rd (drive through the gates) for about 250 metres. Turn left into Ridge Rd. Continue past the 1st car park and follow the windy road until you see a car park and BBQ’s.

February Club Meeting & BBQ
Traditional BBQ start to new Year at the Club Rooms. This is a special invitation to all “new members” who have joined the RCCA over the past year to come along and meet like-minded individuals, have a chat about your car. Got a problem, perhaps someone might be able help?
Starting time: 7.30pm. The BBQ will be available for members to use and entry into the hall from 7.45pm. BYO everything. The February Meeting will commence at 8.30pm.
For those members who wish to Bar-B-que. You must bring own BBQ tools. No sharing of BBQ tools or the clubs.
Members are asked to maintain Social distancing when Bar-b-queuing
Members are asked not to share any food.
Members are asked when entering to hand sanitise and wear face masks (refer to DHHS website for any updates on wearing of face marks inside).
Refreshments will not be available. Please bring your own Thermos tea/coffee or cold drink and glass/cup.
Club run and lunch
Lock this date in your diary!!! Meeting point: Trafalgar Holden Museum Carpark, 74 Waterloo Rd (C463), Trafalgar. Meeting time: 11.15am to leave at 11.30am to arrive in Mirboo North by 12.15pm or thereabouts. En-joy the scenic run from Trafalgar to Mirboo. Lunch at the Mirboo North Hotel Bistro at 12.30pm.
Current COVID guidelines requires all attendees to wear a mask inside if they are not eating.
March RCCA Club Meeting
Guest Speaker – Warwick Truepenny will be presenting a number of photos and a video of his trip – “The Trans-Himalayan” adventure which he completed on his Norton Motorbike. Not a meeting to miss!
Visitors and prospective Members most welcome.
March Run to Creswick and local area.
Meeting point: Creswick Woollen Mill. Railway Parade, North Creswick. Meeting time: 11.00 am at the Mill, where we will take a tour of the interpretive museum, taking a drive to Anderson’s Flour Mill and then onto lunch. Lunch will be at the Kingston Hotel (further details in the March VT).
On your way through the town admire the architecture of Creswick’s broad, elegantly curved main street, studded with buildings that owe their existence to the gold rush town’s heyday.

March Mid-week run to Beechworth Bakery, Healesville
Address: Beechworth Bakery, 316 Maroondah Highway, Healesville.
Meeting point: Mitcham Football Ground Carpark (Walker Park) Mel 48 H9). Members will receive a map with instructions.
Meeting time: 10.45am to leave by 11.00am to arrive at Healesville by 12.30pm
2021 National Rove hosted by Rover Car Club of South Australia Inc. now to be held (COVID situation allowing) in October 2021.

The RACV Alpine Trial Centenary
The RACV, together with the Vintage Drivers Club, will be organising an event recreating the original 1921 Alpine Trial which will be held from Saturday 20 November to Saturday 27 November 2021.
A maximum of 100 vehicles will be permitted to enter, with preference given to vehicles that competed in the original events and to other vehicles manufactured during the period of the trials: 1921-1926.
