Summary of Club Events Calendar. In addition we also list some non RCCA organised Events that we are aware of for information to Members and Classic Car visitors.

In all cases if you wish to attend an Event please notify the Club Events Co-ordinator, so arrangements can be made for suitable parking, tickets or catering as appropriate. Please Note: If your vehicle is on Club Plates remember to always fill in your Log Book when you participate in Events.

RCCA’s Australia Day Picnic
To start off 2020, Sugarloaf Reservoir Park, Christmas Hills see Map below.
This event is open to family and friends.
Directions: Travel along the Eltham Yarra Glen Rd (C726), turn into Simpson Rd.
Continue on Simpson Rd (drive through the gates) for about 250 metres. Turn left into Ridge Rd. Continue past the 1st car park and follow the windy road until you see a car park and BBQ’s. There is plenty of shelter and this picnic area has two double hotplates gas BBQ’s. It is recommended to bring a “cold” picnic lunch in case of a total fire ban.

Bring your veteran, vintage, classic, collectible original, modified, hot-rodded pride and joy to a public motor show at the greyhound racing track, Rubicon St Sebastopol. There is also a large display of vintage clothing and a fashion show.

To coincide with the 2020 Torquay Rotary Motor Show the inaugural Great Ocean Road street cruise, open to all collectable cars and motor cycles, will take you up the stunning Great Ocean Road to Torquay the day before the Show. The Cruise will finish at the Motor Show ground in Torquay with Food and Entertainment on site.

2020 Torquay Rotary Motor Show
More than 400 Vintage, Veteran, Classic and Contemporary Cars and Motor Cycles will compete for trophies in 26 Classes. The Show will include a tribute to The Hallam Dynasty recognising the achievements of 3 generations of Hallam Automotive design genius with their most notable work being the Repco Brabham Race Car driven by Jack Brabham during the 1960’s, The Hunwick Hallam and The HRA Tomahawk motorcycles.
Organised by the Rotary Club of Torquay with proceeds from the event to be used for Local, National and International Rotary projects.
This year preceded by inaugural Great Ocean Road Street Cruise on 8th.
February Club Meeting & BBQ
Traditional BBQ start to new Year at the Club Rooms. This is an invitation to all “new members” who have joined the RCCA over the past year. Come along and meet like-minded individuals, have a chat about your car. Got a problem, perhaps someone might be able help?
Starting time: 7.30pm. The BBQ will be available for members to use and entry into the hall from 7.45pm. BYO everything. The February Meeting will commence at 8.30pm.
March RCCA Club Meeting
Guest Speaker – Maria Tilling who is a Senior Technologist for BP Australia will talk about BP fuels.

Restoring Australia’s only surviving B-24 Liberator
“This is the only remaining Liberator in the Southern Hemisphere and is one of only eight still existent in the world.
This intricate restoration work is proceeding in one of the impressive World War II hangars on the old Werribee airfield – just outside Melbourne in Victoria. It is our intention to eventually have the airframe completely restored.”
Meeting time: 9.45am. Tour will commence at 10.am to 11.00am followed by tea and coffee. Lunch to be advised in the Feb ST.
64th Kalorama Rally
Featuring Vintage and Classic Specials, the Kalorama Rally is an annual Vintage Car Rally held in the Dandenong Ranges Victoria at the Kalorama Recreation Reserve, Mt Dandenong Tourist Rd, Kalorama.

2020 National Rove will be hosted by Rover Car Club of South Australia Inc. The Rove will be held around the Fleurieu Peninsula centred in historic Victor Harbor, over the weekend of October 23 to 26, 2020.
