All Events will operate in accordance with the Victorian Government COVID Safe guidance. Please Note – Members are now required to register their attendance prior to meetings and events with the Events Coordinator.Members and visitors are asked to sign in, hand sanitise and wear face masks where necessary.

March RCCA Club MeetingStop Press Change of Venue Please note this month’s meeting will NOT be held at the Uniting Church Hall, Hepburn St, Hawthorn. We will be meeting at the Augustine Hall, Habitat Church, 2 Minona Street, Hawthorn. Directions: It is on the left at the far end away from Hepburn St. Members can park at the Uniting Church Hall and side streets and walk to the new venue. There is no parking in Minona Street. The Events Coodinator will be walking to the new venue at 7.30pm if anyone would like to join her.
Guest Speaker – Warwick Truepenny will be presenting a number of photos and a video of his trip – “The Trans-Himalayan” adventure which he completed on his Norton Motorbike. Not a meeting to miss!
Meeting point: Creswick Woollen Mill. Railway Parade, North Creswick. Meeting time: 11.00 am at the Mill, where we will take a tour of the interpretive museum, taking a drive to Anderson’s Flour Mill and then onto lunch. Lunch will be at the Kingston Hotel (further details in the March VT).
On your way through the town admire the architecture of Creswick’s broad, elegantly curved main street, studded with buildings that owe their existence to the gold rush town’s heyday.
Point of interest: Originally inhabited by the Indigenous Dja Dja Wurrung people, Creswick grew rapidly during the gold rush years and later became the birthplace of reforestation and home to the school of forestry in Victoria and was home to, noted artistic family of the Lindsays including Norman.
April- Monthly Meeting back at the Uniting Church Hall, Hepburn St, Hawthorn
Guest Speaker will be Tony Muller from the B-24 Liberator Memorial Restoration Program. Tony will be talking about his work with the B-24 program and his association with Rovers during his earlier years and Regent Motors.
The RACV, together with the Vintage Drivers Club, will be organising an event recreating the original 1921 Alpine Trial which will be held from Saturday 20 November to Saturday 27 November 2021. A maximum of 100 vehicles will be permitted to enter, with preference given to vehicles that competed in the original events and to other vehicles manufactured during the period of the trials: 1921-1926.
